Crowns & Bridges in
Germantown, Maryland

Crowns and bridges may be the perfect solution for your missing, broken or severely decayed teeth. Not only do these restorations mimic the natural appearance of teeth, but they provide excellent function as well.

At Crown Dental Care, we offer a range of options for restoring or replacing your missing or damaged teeth. You won’t have to hide your smile or avoid chewing certain foods anymore. All our restorations are custom-made to offer the look and performance of natural teeth.

Dental crowns can be used to cover and protect a weak, damaged or poorly formed tooth or to replace a missing tooth when attached to a dental implant. We offer E.MAX brand crowns or crowns made from zirconia. E.MAX crowns are made from ceramic-based materials and are popular for their excellent aesthetic appeal. The glass in the ceramic creates a translucency that is unmatched by other types of crowns, giving it a superior look while maintaining excellent durability and strength. Zirconia crowns are titanium-based and can often be applied in just one visit.

Bridges are used for patients who have multiple missing teeth in a row. They consist of “replacement teeth” in the middle that are flanked by crowns on either end that provide support. The replacement teeth will be custom-made to match the color and appearance of your natural teeth. At Crown Dental Care, we use Prettau Zirconia Bridges which are a superior alternative to standard bridges because of their resistance to staining, odor-blocking ability, and plaque-resistant material. They are also just as durable as the standard options while offering more flexibility to shape them to your teeth.

If you have missing, broken, or severely decayed teeth, it may be time to discuss your options. Our dental professionals will steer you in the right direction. Contact our friendly staff to schedule an appointment. You can reach us at (301)563-9508.
